PR/Cultural Committee
Purpose: Communicate the existence, programs and events of the AAWBC to the community
and the media; create culturally oriented programs to enhance understanding of
the Arab American culture.
- Promote membership
- Promote Arab American women
- Promote AAWBC events
- Other communications tasks that support the mission and vision of the AAWBC
The Communications Committee will fulfill its purpose through:
- Printed promotional materials
- Interactive and electronic communications
- Media relations
- Promotion of the organization through creative and non-traditional channels
- Planning and implementing events that heighten awareness and increase membership
of the AAWBC.
